Data Made Flesh was a installation work developed in collaboration with the Australian artist Simon Berman, that was exhibited at Bus Projects, Melbourne, Australia. The work explored the materiality of code, and the underlying structure of “the network” by representing and making explicit the flows of binary data that circulated through the localised network that we established for the project. The work employed QR code barcodes, smart phones, and audio-visual synthesis, to produce generative audio-visual outputs that played out across myriad screens and surfaces.
