“Unity” is about removing perceived boundaries between people. When you stand in front of Unity you are reduced to your simplest form, as is everyone around you – regardless of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. Unity shows us that we are ultimately the same objects in time and space.
Unity has been expanded to include an audio component triggered by movement within the space. Based around the number five, the number of man, harmonic notes are triggered to build an organic sound that accompany the interactive visuals.
Scott Brown is an Audio Visual artist based in Tauranga, New Zealand. His exploration into digital art includes generative music, audio reactive visuals and interactive projection spaces. He has also performed several live improvised audiovisual shows.
