Sculpture for the Aotearoa Digital Art (ADA) Network Symposium 2022 to shine a light on connections, not only in this room but also the wider world.

I approached this by looking at how we make connections in everyday life through technology and how it blends in more with our surroundings and emerges with nature, becoming one.

This blending is displayed in this installation through the intertwined vines and electrical cords. The vines represent humans and nature compared to the electrical cords representing technology and social media, showing that everything is slowly becoming interweaved with technology as it adapts causing environmental and social problems right in front of the public’s eyes.
